You currently develop fantastic applications internally, but do so using a
"legacy" development language, such as RPG, Cobol or maybe Visual Basic or
a 4GL. You may already recognise the benefits of developing on WebSphere but
all your developers, who have in depth knowledge of your business, have their
skills in the existing platform. You need to move your development team from
where they are today, to being skilled and productive in J2EE and WebSphere.

The On Ramp to WebSphere Program
|
On Ramp is a program of adoption that takes companies from their existing
technology platform through to J2EE and WebSphere, in a proven and low risk
manner. The program involves planning, training, mentoring, implementation,
support and best practices and has been used to take dozens of UK companies
through to WebSphere.
On Ramp to WebSphere is suitable for developers from none-object orientated
backgrounds (i.e. procedural and 4GL programming) and experience suggests that
the programme can get you productive in around 3 months.
