The Introduction to Java Programming course teaches students: the syntax
of the Java programming language; Object-Oriented Programming using Java;
exception handling; file input/output (I/O); JSP, Servlets; and EJB; and,
optionally, creating Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) using AWT and Swing.
Students will learn how to develop Java applications and, optionally, how
to develop applets.
